General Shipping & Logistics Information

Collection

If you would like to collect your order, we can only accommodate this at our Auckland branch – located in Avondale, West Auckland. Please advise our staff when placing your order that you would like to collect and we will update you accordingly.

Delivery areas

Pak-Line ships nationwide in New Zealand to business and residential addresses. We do not deliver to PO Boxes or Private Bags.

Pak-Line relies on third-party freight and courier services for deliveries outside of the Auckland area. Availability of shipping will depend on the exact destination, size of the consignment, and availability of freight services attending the destination where applicable. Additional charges may apply for residential or rural destinations, please see below.

Delivery timeframes

Stock Items

When you place an order for Pak-Line products held in stock, we will aim to pack and prepare your order within 2 business days – ready for freight or courier collection. For local or central Auckland area freight, Pak-Line will usually deliver using our own truck – please note, the destination must be able to accommodate pallet freight if this is the case.

Made to Order / Non-stock Product

When you place an order for custom Pak-Line products or non-stock items, lead times apply and these goods will not be available for delivery or collection immediately. We have a general lead time of 4-6 weeks for Made to Order product. If you need your order faster than this, please contact us directly to discuss.

Once your Made to Order or non-stock product is ready for dispatch, we will aim to pack and prepare your order the same day – ready for freight or courier collection. For manufactured goods, we will usually freight direct from our factory in Hastings (Hawkes Bay). For Auckland area freight, Pak-Line will usually deliver using our own truck – please note, the destination must be able to accommodate pallet freight if this is the case.

Delivery charges

  • Delivery is free in the North Island for orders over 10 items, and in the South Island for orders over 20 items.
  • Deliveries less than the required items for free freight will be charged for courier/delivery at cost. We will inform you of delivery charges on the invoice and packing slip.
  • Orders delivered to rural addresses (and some residential areas), regardless of size, will incur a small additional delivery fee charged at cost.
  • Freight, handling, and pallet charges, may be applied to large bulky products, hazardous goods, unusual products, printing plates, etc. We will inform you of any unexpected charges.

International Shipping

Pak-Line can arrange for international shipping on request. Different freight charges will apply depending on the size of the consignment and the intended destination.

We can arrange for international shipping for consignments as small as a carton, and as large as a standard shipping container. If this is something you would like to look into, please contact us directly to discuss.

Returns

Should you feel that your goods did not arrive in good condition, please request a return as below and we can inspect the goods and arrange for repair, replacement, or refund. We do not allow for returns/refunds due to a change of mind, please see our Refund Policy.

Request a Return

To request to have unwanted goods picked up please contact us directly either via phone or using our online contact form and we will call you back. Returned goods will only be accepted if the return request is agreed to by Pak-Line, and we will provide you with a courier or freight ticket to attach to the goods for collection.

Alternatively, if you are local to either the Auckland or Hastings branches, we can accept returns in person if you would like to bring them in.
